| Dr Boris Bernatskiy received his dental degree with honors and later was certified as a prosthodontist and as an oral surgeon. Then he continued his post-graduate training in maxillofacial surgery and implantology. Since 1999 Dr Bernatsky has been working on a technique, which could be a universal solution for simple and complex clinical scenarios. The B2S technique developed into a concept with many surgical protocols: for perio and peri-implant defects, for immediate and delayed implant placement combined with reconstruction of alveolar defects, for teeth autotransplantation. The key ingredient in B2S recipe is autologous tissue from the maxillary tuberosity or retromolar pad – corticocancellous, cancellous, cortical or triple grafts.
